2018 Hockey World Cup will take place in India

India to host the 2018 men's Hockey World Cup. India is chosen after beating Malaysia in the bidding. India is hosting second time for the hockey world cup after 8 years. There will be 16 teams competing in the men's world cup. The Women's 2018 will take place in England. The International hockey federation congratulated both Indian and England Hockey for the bid they have placed to host the World cup in 2018.
